Born with the privileges of being a third generation Bakrie, Adinda was able to pursue education abroad, where she not only gained academic knowledge, but also an opportunity to broaden her ways of thinking and seeing life. These advantages were not taken for granted. Instead, they ignited a strong empathy and a calling to help empower those who are less fortunate, especially fellow Indonesian women, so that they too can create better lives for themselves.
