On National Children’s Day last July 23rd, 2024, Adinda Bakrie Foundation invited orphans from Darul Rachmat foundation at Setiabudi, South Jakarta, to shop online together. Accompanied by Adinda and several volunteers, the children were guided to choose items such as clothes, bags, shoes, school supplies, and snacks.
Other than to share the joy of being able to get the things they need, the online shopping event was intended to help the children train how to prioritise necessities, and learn to make their own decisions.
