On April 1st, 2024, Adinda Bakrie Foundation together with Laznas Bakrie Amanah invited 200 orphans from several foundations to watch Kung Fu Panda 4 at Epicentrum XXI, South Jakarta. The event was also attended by Bakrie Amanah’s head of distribution and empowerment department, Mochamad Noerhakim, along with Adinda herself.
Adinda understands that aside from primary needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, children’s mental and emotional wellbeing is also crucial to fulfil. This was the motivation behind the event; to cultivate a sense of togetherness, and provide a recreational moment that is probably quite rare for the children.
Other than the movie, the children also received fast breaking meals, financial donations, and school supplies. The children’s enthusiasm and joy throughout the event became further encouragement for Adinda to continue initiating similar activities in the near future.
